Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to the manager/supervisor. Coordinate with, monitor, and supervise outside vendors to resolve large-scale engineering problems e.g., A/C, internet, telephone problems. Prepare and review written documents e.g., daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports, including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness. Order items, including filling out requisitions, obtaining manager approval, and using appropriate vendors. Communicate with customers when necessary to resolve maintenance issues. Coordinate with other employees and departments using telecommunications devices in order to respond to requests and resolve maintenance issues. Assist local authorities with emergency and natural disaster. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
