Obtain ISO certification for Health, Safety, Quality and Environment for the project and where appropriate supplement the SMS with local policies and plans. Liaise with Client HSQE representatives and attend meetings on behalf of Serco as required. Undertake regular audits on the SMS to ensure certification is maintained. Develop and deliver regular training programmes for HSQE aspect of the projects which you are responsible for. Interact and consult with the project team on appropriate SMS management systems elements in which they will need to interact. Carry out internal audits or other HSE reviews and develop processes to eliminate or mitigate the risks identified. Provide recommendations for enhancements or changes to systems to evidence continual improvement. Review and comment on specialist service provider risk assessments and method statements Identify and develop processes to eliminate the root cause of OH&S deviations, in corrective actions on non-conformances. Production of operational reports on a monthly basis detailing measurement and monitoring of the Projects service SLAs KPIs and other relevant information. Review the safety performance of the company and related contracted entities periodically and prepare the required reports, risk assessments, action plans and accident investigation.
