Accounting Manager responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining the general ledger and preparing financial statements and budgets
• Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations
• Manage payroll, and benefits administration.
• All other functions customary for an Accounting Manager position.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a professional degree or Masters in Commerce or Business Administration with Finance as a major specialization and any CPA or CA qualification.
o 8 to 10 years of accounting experience preferably in the Middle East.
o SAP FICO implementation and end user skills.The candidate must have expertise in Controlling module especially in Cost Center Accounting , Cost Element Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Assessments, COPA , Budgeting , Real and Statistical orders.He /she must also possess an indepth knowledge of SAP payroll accounting and purchasing and inventory management. Certification in SAP is not required at all.
o Strong Excel skills required (i.e. lookup functions, pivot tables, formatting and Macros).
o Have the ability to manage competing priorities and assignments and oversee completion of delegated tasks — good follow-up skills is a must.
o Focused, organized, results oriented individual with a passion for analyzing and solving problems.
o Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
